Here's My Story

Surviving Infidelity: 138 The worst part is that the signs were there before we were married.

I've been married for just over a year and recently found out my husband has been cheating on me from day one. In fact, he was cheating on me while we were engaged. My life revolved around this man and we were planning to start a family very soon. The worst part is that the signs were there before we were married, but I refused to believe he would ever do anything to hurt me in this way. Of course, he told me everything I wanted to hear, and that he loved me, but the truth was he was lying to me the whole time. I have tried to forgive him for what he did, but, even if I find forgiveness, I cannot stay with him. I will never be able to forget what he did, nor will I ever be able trust him in the future. I thank God I wised up before I had children with this man, it's bad enough that I lost 3 years of my life.
